MIKEY’S LIMOUSINES - Terms & Conditions

Mikey’s limousines shall hereinafter be known as "the Company" and the person signing the booking form shall hereinafter be known as "the Hirer". The Hirer accepts responsibility by himself/herself for every person in his or her party and fully agrees to the conditions of hire as follows:-

1: All bookings must be reserved in advance and a £50 booking fee paid upon reservation. No reservation can be confirmed until such deposit has been paid. The Company must receive payment in full not less than 30 days before the date of hire. In the event that the booking is made at less than 30 days notice, payment in full is required immediately. Cheque payments will only be accepted provided the company receives them not less than 10 days before the date of hire. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer, the Company reserves the right to retain the following amount of the booking fee: -More than 30 days before date of hire-Deposit only
Between 20 and 30 days before date of hire - 50% of the total booking fee
Between 10 and 19 days before date of hire - 70% of the total booking fee
Between 7 days and date of hire - total booking fee

2: The Company will not accept any responsibility for traffic congestion, road works or adverse weather conditions that may result in the delay or cancellation of a booking by the company.

3: The Company undertakes to ensure that its vehicles are properly serviced and maintained. The Company, however, will not accept any responsibility for any mechanical, electrical or material breakdown, howsoever caused. In the unlikely event of a vehicle breakdown, every effort will be made for an immediate repair so that the journey can continue or to transfer the Hirer and his or her party to another vehicle(s). The Company will not accept any responsibility for missed connections and/or functions of the Hirer, howsoever caused. In the event of a breakdown or accident to the vehicle before the date of hire, the Company will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle is repaired or an alternative vehicle made available. If this is not acceptable to the Hirer, or the Company is unable to fulfil this condition, the Company will refund any monies paid for the hire. The Company reserves the right at any time to change, replace or renew the vehicle booked.

4: Food and chewing gum cannot be consumed within the vehicle. The Company will supply any alcoholic or soft drinks consumed in the vehicle and these cannot be removed from the vehicle at any time. , the Company operates a strict NO SMOKING and NO DRUGS policy.

5: The Hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused to the vehicle or its contents by the Hirer or any of the members of his or her party. This includes incitement to ANY third party that results in damage to the vehicle. The Hirer agrees to be liable for the total cost of any repair - such repair to be determined by the Company together with a fixed daily rate (to be determined by the Company) whilst the vehicle is out of commission.

6: The Company or its representatives reserve the right to refuse entry to the vehicle of any person or person it thinks unfit. The Company or its representatives also reserve the right to refuse to continue the journey if the Hirer or any member of his or her party behave in a manner which may be detrimental to the driver, to other persons or to the vehicle and its contents. In this event, no refund by the Company will be given. A £80 valeting charge will be levied through misuse by the Hirer from drink or illness or whatever the retail cost may be if in excess of this amount to rectify said damage caused.

7: The Company will always make every effort to facilitate any alterations or extra requests to the booking but it cannot guarantee to meet such requests. In the event that the Company is able to meet these requests, any extra charges resulting in this must be paid in cash to the chauffeur at the commencement of the hire (or when the request is made if this is during the course of the hire). Once a reservation has been confirmed and the deposit received, the booking fee will not be subject to alteration unless the details of the original booking are changed.

8: The Hirer is liable for all glassware breakages or losses at a cost of £10 per item.

9: Club nights are charged at a package price for collection from a Club is 2am. . Drop offs must also be specified at the time of booking and will normally be to the same address(s) as the collection point(s). Any deviation from the original booking at the time of hire may incur additional charges. Individual drop offs are available for bookings, which have been priced at an hourly rate, providing there is suitable access for the Limousine.

10: Passenger numbers are as booked at the booking stage and additional passengers may not be added to the vehicle at any stage during the time of hire maximum 8 passengers.

11: No alcohol will be served by the company to any passengers under 18 years of age.
